Harbour City is collaborating with Bandai Namco Asia for the first time from 27 March to 5 May 2026 to present a large-scale anime-themed event, 'Bandai Namco Asia Journey in Hong Kong @Harbour City'. This is the first time that Bandai Namco Asia has held such a large-scale themed project in Asia, bringing together many popular classic works to bring toy and anime fans an immersive experience across generations!
The event features five themed exhibition areas, respectively themed around 'Mobile Suit Gundam' (commonly known as Gundam), 'One Piece', 'Tamagotchi', 'Ultraman', and 'Dragon Ball', presenting a number of stunning classic scenes at different locations within Harbour City. Through carefully designed photo spots and a rich array of exhibits, visitors can appreciate the unique charm of each work up close.
There will also be a Bandai Namco Asia pop-up store in the mall, selling a variety of limited-edition and selected merchandise, including models, gifts, and collectibles. Customers who spend a designated amount during the event period will also be able to receive free gifts.
Stamp Rally: Explore the Exhibition Areas and Complete Missions to Unlock Consecutive Rewards
During the event period, Harbour City will launch two stamp collection activities, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in the themed world of Bandai Namco Asia while exploring the various exhibition areas. Simply follow the official social media accounts of Harbour City and Bandai Namco Asia, and fans can receive a 'Mobile Suit Gundam' collectible postcard to participate in the 'RX-78-2 Gundam Sortie Stamp Rally', as well as a 'Bandai Namco Asia Brand Stamp Card' to take part in the stamp collection mission. *Gifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

1. Bandai Namco Asia Future Spaceship・Mobile Suit Gundam Exploration Cabin
The 'Bandai Namco Asia Future Spaceship・Mobile Suit Gundam Exploration Cabin' located at Ocean Terminal Forecourt is the core highlight of this event, presenting a 5-metre-tall 'RX-78-2 Gundam' in an attacking posture for the first time, riding the Bandai Namco Asia future spaceship.
The 16-metre-long spaceship installation displays hundreds of Gundam series toys, allowing fans to appreciate the evolution and characteristics of different generations of Gundam works. The exhibition area also specially includes a display of the PERFECT GRADE UNLEASHED series models, gathering the latest technological essence and evolutionary results of Gundam models, allowing visitors to experience the extreme texture of Gundam models up close. At the same time, the globally popular Gundam Universe series has set up an independent area, presenting a scene display of about 20 machines with the theme of the 'Gundam Dock', recreating the immersive charm of the original work.
In addition, the site also features displays of popular anime merchandise, including selected products from classic works such as 'Digimon' and 'Kamen Rider', further enriching the experience and bringing fans more diverse visual and collection fun.

2. One Piece Adventure Voyage
Ocean Terminal Deck has been transformed into a must-visit 'One Piece' themed area, recreating three classic anime scenes, including a 6-metre-tall highly restored classic Going Merry pirate ship scene, a 'Future Island' themed photo spot, and a 'Gear Fifth Luffy' photo spot, leading fans on a passionate voyage!
The new 'One Piece' collaborative series exhibits will make their first appearance in Hong Kong, along with a variety of 'One Piece' related merchandise, allowing fans to appreciate a diverse range of collectibles at once. This includes exhibits themed around the 'Future Island' arc of 'One Piece', as well as displays of classic character merchandise loved by fans, providing visitors with a richer and more highlighted viewing experience.

3. Tamagotchi Laboratory
The 'Tamagotchi' themed exhibition area located at Ocean Terminal, Ground Floor Atrium, is designed with the concept of a 'Tamagotchi Laboratory', creating an interactive space that combines fun and a sense of technology. In addition to displaying a variety of classic and latest Tamagotchi products, the exhibition area also specially sets up life-size statues of the three protagonists of Tamagotchi Paradise — Meowtchi, Irukatchi, and Horhotchi — marking their first appearance in Hong Kong. The exhibition area will surely become a popular photo spot for fans. The visual highlight of the exhibition area is a feature wall composed of sea, land, air, and forest-themed character lightboxes. Tamagotchi Paradise players can also connect to the event machine in the exhibition area to unlock exclusive items!
Test your knowledge of 'Tamagotchi'! Fans can scan the QR code in the exhibition area to take a fun quiz. Those who answer all the questions correctly and complete the specified registration steps can redeem a 'Research Staff ID Sticker' at Ocean Terminal, Level 3, LCX Oasis 3.

Photo Booths of Two Popular IPs: Tamagotchi and Gundam
During the event period, photo booths of the two popular IPs, 'Tamagotchi' and 'Gundam', will make their appearances at Ocean Terminal, Ground Floor Atrium, and its vicinity. Both photo booths feature debut limited-edition themed backgrounds, with 'Tamagotchi' offering 7 scenes and 'Gundam' offering 6 backgrounds, allowing visitors to choose their favourite scenes as if they were stepping into the world of the works to take commemorative photos with the characters.
This themed photo booth also specially incorporates a number of new designs that blend Hong Kong elements, allowing visitors to take photos with 'Tamagotchi' characters riding the Hong Kong tram or in a limited-edition scene combining Hong Kong city silhouettes with the RX-78-2 Gundam. For just HK$78, you can take a commemorative photo, whether it's for collection, sharing, or as a unique memento of the event journey, it's a must-visit photo spot.
4. Ultraman Light Base
Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of Ultraman's birth and the 30th anniversary of 'Ultraman Tiga', the LCX entrance will feature the 'Ultraman Light Base' themed exhibition area, exhibiting a variety of representative character designs and related exhibits, leading viewers to review the classic hero's evolution from the Showa to the Reiwa period. The exhibition area also selects multiple Ultraman works for merchandise displays, including the first generation Ultraman, the popular 'Ultraman Tiga', and the latest 'Ultraman Omega' related products, fully presenting the cross-generational charm of the works. There is also a photo spot inside LCX featuring Ultraman's classic battle scene with the monster Golza, allowing fans to personally step into this iconic tokusatsu scene.
Visitors can also scan the QR code in the exhibition area to participate in an Ultraman-themed quiz. After completing all the questions, go to the LCX Customer Service Centre and show the completed page to redeem an Ultraman limited-edition postcard. The quantity is limited, available on a first-come, first-served basis daily.

Ultraman Character Meet-and-Greet
During the event period, customers who purchase HE CHAO Ultraman products worth HK$200 or more at the Bandai Namco Asia pop-up store can redeem a photo ticket at the LCX Customer Service Centre to participate in the Ultraman character meet-and-greet segment. Five Ultraman characters, including Ultraman, Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Z, and Ultraman Omega, will appear at random times, giving fans a chance to interact with the characters up close, especially attracting families and loyal fans to participate.

5. Dragon Ball Power-up Awakening Stage and Bandai Namco Asia Pop-up Store
A Super Saiyan Son Goku statue stands at the entrance of the pop-up store in the Ocean Terminal Exhibition Hall, welcoming visitors with the well-known 'Kamehameha' classic scene from 'Dragon Ball'! Together with a series of exhibits, it fully demonstrates the passionate and spirited spirit of the work. The exhibition area and the pop-up store echo each other, allowing fans to not only take photos but also purchase their favourite merchandise on the spot.
New Popular Merchandise on Sale, Plus Consumption Redemption Gifts
The Bandai Namco Asia pop-up store offers a variety of limited-edition and brand-new merchandise, bringing fans a series of surprises. The store will debut new products and feature limited-edition styles from multiple popular series, allowing collectors to freely choose their favourite works. During the event period, there will also be special shopping privileges, allowing visitors to enjoy a one-stop exciting experience from appreciation to collection. There are also more than 60 gashapon machines in the store and on the same floor, which will surely become a must-play highlight for fans.
Visitors can scan the QR code at the exit of the pop-up store, complete a questionnaire, and receive an A5 file as a reward, adding more gains to the exploration journey. Gifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
